Research Interests

CURRENT INTEREST: Calcium homeostasis in the ciliary body epithelium -- in particular mechanisms mediating synergistic calcium increases. SPECIAL INTEREST: Intracellular signal transduction (G-proteins, lipases, kinases, phosphatases, receptors, etc.), Second messengers (cAMP, cGMP, IP3, Ca2+, etc.), Ion transporting mechanisms (channels, transporters, pumps, etc.) GENERAL INTEREST: Electrophysiology, Epithelial Physiology, Imaging, Simulation
